THE CLOCK STORE

Inspired by a real life event. After the death of the old man; the property was brought down and now I see a huge residential complex with many shops ticking with the change in time.

THE CLOCK STORE

The bylanes have not changed over time,
The old clock store still sell time pieces;
It invokes passersby to look at the architectural marvel;
It has not kept up with the changes,
I see the old man with hinges,
He is the legatee today;
Of various metal pieces and old signages;

Time has muffled this time shop,
To a rubble in the onlookers mind;
But for the old man he lives with bewildering hope;
Revival of his primeval bequest, in his mind shop.
