Love Story 2.0

The terrific lights in rows and columns,
I am not here to Stifle Ingenuity;
Not to puncture a hole in your heart,
A lovebird in the hunt,
In his momentous best,
She is vulnerable at times!
Away from the nest!

Those mesmerizing eyes,
Rainbow curved in her lips,
The hourglass curving and swaying dress;
Tresses long rebounding the night beyond the trees;
Tines are pomegranate,
Shying away from the dance floor!
Tonight! I play in my mind,
Dances in the hallway with my heart,
Millions of punches in my soul!
A wake up call!

I sojourn in the crossroad,
Looking for my terminus – not far away;
Am I the destiny!
Or the gold digger from the west,
Losing multitudes in the test,
Thumping!
Should I rejoice in the glee memories of light?
Darkness is affirmative and let them be aside;
Should I not ride the tide?
Homebound!
With the shadows of the night!

A self-proclaimed victory, I am in the rise!
Tomorrow I'll follow the signs;
To the yonder hills,
Her unprecedented skills,
Deviating reminiscences to a still;
Landlocked and heart blocked!
My steed lost its steam;
Her ingenious charm,
Those spreading arms,
Virulent concoction of deceptive glance;
I was lulled to a slumber,
Now I am in an eternal trance!

The signs are clear

The signs are clear and I am not too far,
The road is dark and dusty;
The Climb arduous and I am thirsty,
But that emblematic gesture and I am not too far.

Life has many meanings for a thinking mind,
Sometimes we strain and cry;
Before I count my last breath,
Feeling of triumph I need, I should try.

The signs are clear and I am not too far,
If I nosedive today, who will laugh?
I have left a trail of laughter’s behind,
Life has many meanings for a thinking mind,

We live many lives and die once;
Spouse, brother, Mother and friend;
Sister, daughter and a loving father till the end,
Who else am I? I need to comprehend.

Let me expunge my name and my affairs,
Pull my clothes and fancy dreams;
Who am I now? Can I pretend?
Life has many meanings and I do intend.

Shadow!

I clicked the below photo in a winter evening while in Crewe UK
Shadow!

Your character is not in your eyes,
You can fake all the time,
And take away the shine;
The fool resides inside me,
Hell bound…lost is mine.

Blustery days of fiction,
Irrational fear;
Side long glances,
Silhouette of your hair,
Restless night;
Blinding hallucinations!?
I learned few lessons.

You can settle for more,
Your manuscript cannot ignore a life;
In the distant land the sun still rise,
My darkness is moonless night,
There is a new dawn and there will be light,
Another moment and another fight!
Life!

Limerance

I am writing something of this sort after a long time. Hope you enjoy the write. The photo was taken in Hyde park during my visit to UK. Yes! i am trying my hand in photography. Cheers

Limerance

I never expressed my shame!
There was no time,
I ran behind the graph of fame,
Forsaken and disdain;
My retribution beyond grain,
Today sunset and few trickle of pain.
Some aroma never leaves your sense;
Some music,
Some dance,
Sometimes I go back in time,
Silently;
Tip toed, every moment, I rhyme.

Do you go back?
Dwindling pace;
Connecting dots in your way,
Refurbishing emotions while you stay,
I journeyed till the end,
From death to an infant;
Your new address embossed!
You lost but engrossed;
With time meanings gets lost;
Who survives!?
Who is the host?

Choice!

Choice!
 1920x1200 Dark Forest wallpaper
I carry many nights inside me;
Now darkness engulf my days,
Life outsourced to some plonk in some dark alleys;
Thoughts lost in time and space,
I loiter in your dream as ragamuffin you hate,
Visions unfurnished, I remember each date,

Am I too late?
For your heaven’s gate;
Blood is always red,
I am ignorant;
You know the taste,
I am talking about peace,
Of mild sun rays!
Let us re-define togetherness;
I half heartedly stoop;
You are mesmerising;
Your look!
We can still walk by the brook,
God bless the martyrs,
The Martyrs of today are compromised;
Unsheathing freedom…so hard to see.
Hard to be!

The woods lost in the forest;
Stop counting them,
Whom do I blame?
When it rains and the storm follows;
When I see the horizon still lost;
When I hear noises but not your voice;
When I have no choice,

Jugni!

Jugni!

Wake Up!

I am your lover and I am the last,

I relied on your belief and your trust!

I am the lone ranger in this desert of death,

Wake up! It’s no time to take rest,

I have got flowers for our bed;

Wake up! We have a journey to make,

This war cannot burn the spirit of a lover,

I will carry you through the sea and the river;
Away from humanity, do not quiver!
Away from this dying city,

Wake up! The time is right;

I am a warrior and I will fight,

Let me fight destiny and restart;

I was only away for a very short trance,

You could have given me one more chance;

The earth is adorned with twinkling light;

Wake up; you love the moon, shining bright!

Today words no more make sense;
I can fly with you forever, I can dance,

Leave behind hell and walk through fire ball;

Thrash death and stand tall.

Wake up!

Wake Up!

Let me thrust you with more oxygen;

Let me run to the arid brook and sprinkle the last drops;

Let me make you warm – alter the season;

Oh! Wake up,

Let me hammer at your chest;

Wild Honey – would you taste?

Wake up!

The rhythm is breaking and I am losing sight;

Today there is no place to hide;

Wake up!

I can see the oozing blood, its burning inside!

We can still make it to the other side;

We can still live a life.

I am your lover and I am the last,

Wake up!

I can’t hold on to life
Wake Up!

I can see the diminishing sunlight,

And the angels ride,

Wake up! One last time,

Let us embrace and kiss and touch,

Wake Up!

I am your lover and I am the last,

Wake Up….!

Loss

A very old poem written during my college days.

Loss
Riverside dreams and sea side walks
Long waits and short breaks;
Virtual chat and wireless talks
All came to a rest.
I lost.

Side by Side Cycling
Star gazing hours;
Paper boat play and all those fights.
I long for my light.
I lost you.

Irrational ideas, campfire stories
Verses written and shared;
Musical soiree, feckless attempts to sing.
Sand castle and cardboard ring.
I lost you - My love.

Portrait

Many of you might not like this poem. It has too many metaphors and is little dark. Please leave your feedback in case you are able to connect,
PORTRAIT
A Portrait first made,
Shed tears for breath,
Maker, your smile,
Lost somehow now betrayed.

A portrait just dressed,
Colored firm and fresh;
Maker you know the soul,
And the layout behind that;

Haggard and blown,
In that weary robe,
A steed, never she rode,
What’s inside the abode?

Cry out – your tears!?
Mixed with colors, a maze,
A salty vision,
I know the taste,

The horse now stabled,
And the picture framed,
Somehow clipped to the doors,
Painter – you strive for more;

Would you bargain me the right?
To kiss her brows,
And more on her toes,
And more with her cores;

Would you let me to the door?
Slammed behind,
With fertile blood,
And blended folks;
Oh! I am lost
Again at the sight,
Few more nights,
Day makes only lights.
Oh! I am for the lights,
If not?
A portrait in my flight,
Peaceful and glowing bright;

What I longed for,
Now stripped to pieces,
Lifeless – beats no more,
Plugged in the whirlpool of saddles;

Would you swallow?
Passersby once more,
The broken portrait,
Retailed to your fortune;

Spoiled brat, you smile,
Through the frame,
But who is your bearer?
A darkness flowed and no names,

The soothsayer now cries,
And plays with my time;
The glory of a sigh portrait,
Brushed throughout and divine.

Long lost love Song

Source: boatbookings.com
Long lost love Song
That time of the night when my sun shines bright,
I linger in the wilderness of my dream;
In search of that long lost love song,
I saunter in our hidey-hole looking for signs of your fragrance- gone,
I remember few lines and few submerged with your shadow;
The love birds still chirps in the Meadow.

Long lost love song,
I am dying to listen, take me along;
Long lost love song,
You know the throbbing and all that has gone wrong;
Long lost love song,
Behold! I can’t repel the pain, today let me groan;
Long lost love song,
I am hoary and not strong.

You always run to me when I was miffed,
When I was hurt and in the time of need;
Today when the clock ticks against me,
And the sunshine brings rain, I am in pain;
Yesterday my nights were just milestones for today,
Today daylights hurt my soul and I am lost in the way.

Long lost love song,
Would you play me the melody once again?
Love song of the heaven-rhyme,
Love song of a child in play-Shine,
Love song of the estranged lover- divine,
O lady! My love song lost in the cradle of time.

Trapessing

Source: Wikipedia
Trapessing
You hide in the eyot in the moonless night,
You hide in the eyot in the moonless night,
Why do you run when the sun twinkles bright?
Why do you run when the sun twinkles bright?
There is a story at that unsung sight.

You rush to the chine when my eyes meet eyes,
You rush to the chine when my eyes meet eyes,
Why do you run when the sun shines bright?
Why do you run when the sun shines bright?
There is a story in your side long glance.

You hide in the eyot in the moonless night,
Why do you run when the sun shines bright?
There is a story at that unsung sight.
There is a story in your side long glance.

Doggrel

Doggrel
My sunshine vanished in the cloud,
 And the moon cleverly hides you in its shadow;
Whom should I blame?
You blamed it on the sun.

You brought happiness along,
Silently absorbed sadness and made me strong;
You added me to multiply when you are gone,
This bundle of happiness – our son.

All riches – makes no sense,
Food and honey – lacks judiciousness,
Time heals – makes no sense,
Aging maturity – makes no sense,
Baby – my child let’s dance in the rain,
Every breadth is now for you in this chain.

Can I meet you by the heaven’s gate?
Escort me to the judgment and my fate.

My Caballero

My Caballero
There is a blissful beauty in your face
You tend to hide behind that shadowy maze;
You tend to move with night – unrest,
Tonight I saw you in your best dress.

The king’s men are in the hunt,
Today - Run your weapon is blunt;
I will hone them when you are back,
Today – save yourself from this livid attack.

For thousand nights I will wait,
For my dainty knight at the gate;
Even if I perished or you get late,
I will be there in the heavenly gate.

Today I see your divine match,
The Gods are here to see you combat;
Earth will remember your glorious death,
And heaven opens its gate.

Alternate Reality

Alternate Reality
Tonight you sleep,
Let me fetch a dream for you;
Let me embalm all pains and sing a lullaby
A ditty I am carrying for eons.
Do you ponder dreaming’ bout a life,
Of togetherness and beyond;
Or should I shower some roses into your reverie.

I have bought an onyx for enlightenment,
I have crossed the gorge to bury those Melancholy strains;
I know the dream merchants, who sell colored water,
Let me sprinkle some on you,
And take you to the shower of life;
Whose symphony lies in the garden of hope!

And when the morning star shines bright,
Let me wake you up and nourish you with the manna of love;
I am not a rhymester but I do sway,
And embody my heart with the tide of time;

Euphemism - True Love

Euphemism – True Love
She dances with great élan,
And I dared her side long glance;
The plonk still strong in my head,
And I walked close to her space.

She murmured few magic spells,
The plonk still strong in my head;
I hope to prolong this date,
Eons gone I still feel her grace.

My search never ends,
I see the world go by;
Though I scopperloited the moment,
My hallucinations never die.

The scabiosa still in my head,
Good bye is not my asking;
It’s an inaudible and mute life;
My gulosity for your aura is never masking.

She said we will make it,
And she said I am a hero;
Shared time and many a kisses,
The unborn child and all riches.

I was a hero destined to win,
Always wild and charging;
My Steed shattered in this ancient ruin,
Good bye was never my asking;

Personified!

Personified!
Her elegance mesmerising,
Overshadowed the moon when it is full;
She is bathed in gold and adorns silver in her smile,
She swamped my heart with lawless anxiety;
And I am christened a lover.

Escorted by fairy’s light;
I love the garden in the edge of the street;
She defines the beauty of the flowers;
I am a fool in smart sartorial;
I never ventured into a love song.

Oh! For the fragrance from her long gone air,
I can die thousand deaths to reach that far;
I can dare to bet my soul and loose;
For this charismatic splendour,
I can see my sun rise in every blink and sense the odour.

ELUSIVE NYMPH

( I am adding one more Poem from the Book)

Working In a paddock,
I heard a sweet ditty;
It’s indeed a fairy’s song,
Sharing the nature, a bit of her beauty.
I threw my hatchet in a haste,
Went up the hummock in search of the guest.
I saw the lily bright.
But the owner never in my sight.
I crossed the gorge,
And I crossed the ford.
I saw the leafy thistle,
I saw the naughty squerrel;
I came closer and closer,
To the sound of some clatter;
What’s this, its only the sound,
The owner of it I never found.
