Ring of Fire

Ring of Fire
The train halted,
I bid good bye to my workmate,
Flesh floating and Jilted
Then I saw the ring of fire..

The restaurant was bursting,
I run the knife through the cake she has baked.
The Taj today fissured.
Then I saw the ring of fire.

I was all red’
Lying in my hospital bed,
100 dead - the newspaper read.
When I saw the ring of fire

The dead are gone,
The Living is living,
With memories unforgiving.
Of that ring of fire.
